A tour that dives into Old San Juan culture, history and most famous icons. This journey on cobblestone streets, surrounded by colorful historic buildings, explores the history and traditions of Puerto Rico in a town considered by locals and visitors a jewel of the Caribbean. As part of the tour, we will see the only two UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Puerto Rico. The St. Catherine Palace (Puerto Rico's Governor Mansion) and the Spanish fortifications of Old San Juan (El Morro, San Cristobal, and the city wall).
Other sites of interest included in the tour are Plaza de Armas with the imposing San Juan Town Hall, the legendary Chapel of Christ the Savior, the massive Ballajá Barracks and the San Juan Cathedral, one of the oldest churches in the Americas. In total, this private tour covers over 30 popular sites and landmarks of Old San Juan! The visitors have the option to end the tour in an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant right in the heart of Old San Juan.
